Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson: Being more than an athlete & how disability attitudes haven’t moved on

Baroness Tanni-Grey Thompson wheelchair racer and one of the most successful disability athletes in the UK. Having competed at 5 Paralympic games between 1988 and 2004, Tanni won 16 Paralympic medals, 11 gold, to go with her 13 world championship medals of which 6 were gold. She also held over 30 world records and won the London marathon six times. Since racing, Tanni has been in the public eye as a television presenter, a university chancellor and a politician amongst many other roles.
