Sam Allardyce, one of the biggest names in football, is a football manager and former player having most recently managed Everton in the Premier League last season. Sam played at a number of clubs as a defender, with his longest spell at Bolton, who he went on to manage with great success for 8 years from 1999, taking them into the Premier League in 2001 as well as into the League Cup Final and Europe.
