Peter Van Kets: Everybody is born with an innate sense of adventure

Until 2007, Peter Van Kets was living a fairly ordinary life in London as a teacher, but when he was offered the opportunity to compete in the Atlantic Rowing Race that year, he became very much extraordinary! This opportunity gave him the taste for something much bigger and led to him rowing across the Atlantic twice and trekking the Antarctic in one of the world’s most gruelling endurance events. His experiences have involved the greatest of needs for survival, courage, perseverance and team work and he proves that we can all overcome the limits we set upon ourselves simply by changing the way we think about ourselves and other people. He talks to Sandro about how process helps him overcome fear and some of the tricks he used whilst in the midst of challenges to keep him going. Sandro Forte is a highly respected and successful businessman who has built an astonishing network of well-known individuals, sports stars and celebrities over a career spanning more than 30 years.
