Gratitude and Legacy: Concluding My Role as MDRT Foundation President

As I stood on stage at the MDRT Global Conference in Macau, I felt a deep sense of gratitude. Serving as President of the MDRT Foundation over the past year has been one of the greatest honors of my 36 years in this profession.

What began many years ago with a simple conversation at the MDRT Foundation booth grew into a lifelong passion for philanthropy. That passion has shaped not only my business but also who I am as a person.

A Year of Impact

This past year, our MDRT community achieved milestones that reminded me why this Foundation is so special:

• 🌍 Nearly $2 million in grants given to charities in more than 70 countries

• 🤝 Service projects that changed lives, including support for Special Olympics Macau

• 💙 Thousands of MDRT members volunteering, endorsing charities, and inspiring others to give back

These are not just numbers—they represent lives touched, communities supported, and hope restored.

Stories That Inspire

I’ve been humbled by the incredible stories of members like Audrey Yap in Malaysia, Cheng Wan Yo in Singapore, and Cherie Ong in the Philippines, who led meaningful service projects and brought hope to countless families. Their work—and the work of so many MDRT Foundation “superstars”—is a reminder that the ripple effect of generosity begins with each of us.

Gratitude as I Conclude My Role

As I finish my role as President, I want to thank every MDRT member, volunteer, and donor who made this year extraordinary. Individually, it may feel impossible to change the world—but together, we can.

My presidency may be ending, but my commitment to the Foundation will never fade. I encourage each of you to continue this journey: endorse a charity, volunteer your time, and follow our Foundation’s stories so that together we keep the ripple of good spreading.

This is not the end, but a continuation of something bigger than any one of us.
